ASTROLOGY

Before the dawn of science around 500 years ago, Astrology was a way to seek answers to problems and predicting the future. Today, despite the advancements in science and advancement of our knowledge about the universe, a lot of people still believe in astrology and consult stars out of curiosity and sometimes in desperation.

In the past, the heavens were full of mysteries and events that were almost impossible to explain. So many myths were gradually conjured up and evolved as a result. In the Greek era, many Gods were associated with the natural events such as earthquakes and thunders. Comets appeared a handful of time in one's life time providing spectacular views adding to those mysteries. The most dramatic of the events were the eclipses. As they occurred more frequently that other events, they sometime coincided with some earthy events such as the birth of a king, Jesus or the end of a war etc. These coincidences were very important in setting the foundation for astrology and making it popular.

Because astrology is so shrouded by myth and corruption, it makes it difficult for people to take it seriously, therefore if there is any element of truth in it, it will not be discovered. Any respectable scientist, especially astronomers would not go near astrology for these reasons.

However, a while ago I discovered something in natural science that could shed some light on how astrology because acceptable in the first place. Something that can be scientifically be studied and proven.
